David Chu asked over 2 years agoHello, thank you for your question! In addition to the new trail connection over I-680, the project includes a trail over Mission Creek that connects the Museum to the planned Irvington BART station (referred to as the “North Trail”). A map of these trail alignments can be found on the project website.

Share Where is the museum planning to be built? I can't exactly tell from the aerial photo. I regularly walk the Sabercat trail, entering from the Via Orinda trailhead. Is the museum planned on that side of 680 or the other? Thanks. on Facebook Share Where is the museum planning to be built? I can't exactly tell from the aerial photo. Loretta asked over 2 years agoHello, thank you for your question! The museum is planned to be built west of I-680 on a State-owned property overlooking the I-680 freeway. The Sabercat Trail will lead directly to the Fossil Museum with general parking and vehicle access along Osgood Road.
